Maybelline shine seduction lipgloss review - in #410 Apricot Aura & #120 Blissful Blush

Hello again dearest beauty bunnies! :)

Today i shall review Maybelline shine seduction lipglosses in the shades:

Apricot Aura

Mauve Dream

Blissful Blush

Bitten Plum

Magic Sunset

Iwill just review my experience with Apricot Aura & Blissful blush (which are my favourites) or else i'll end up with a very very long review and a lot of homework procrastination.

Here goes...

Apricot aura is a peachy, light pink gloss with some gold shimmer in it. It's a very warm color, and would look gorgeous in spring or summer.

PROS:

☺ Beautiful color! looks absolutely amazing and i always use this on top of a nude lipstick

☺ The formula is not sticky at all, and the consistency is really nice and smooth

☺ Packaging is unique and sleek, and you can control really well how much product you get

CONS:

☹ Not very long lasting, the gloss did wear off for me in a few hours, but the tube is very handy so not a problem to carry and reapply :)

☹ Although the packaging is interestingly different, i find myself not liking the plastic applicator. To apply it, you need to twist a clicker that pushes product out of a slanted plastic applicator with holes. When i used it, the holes actually took some of the product back into the tube, which got a little annoying :l

☹ Color is a little sheer. The pigmentation isn't that great, which is why i usually wear this on top of a lipstick.

Blissful Blush is a pale pink (with a hint of lilac) color with very fine shimmer. Looks very subtle and im sure it would compliment nearly every skin tone.

With all of the ratings & pros and cons above, this shade is probably a cooler color. It also has a more noticeable fragrance, kind of like watermelon and sunblock. But i personally like the fragrance.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Ginger Rose & Soft Silver Rose

Today i shall be reviewing 2 Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in GINGER ROSE and SOFT SILVER ROSE

REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS CREME LIPSTICK - GINGER ROSE (#131)

Ginger Rose (#131) is a creme lipstick and the color is exactly what you'd expect it to be - a nudey, gingery rose shade with warm undertones!

PROS:

☺ Very rich & creamy, color glides on really smoothly

☺ Natural looking!
☺ Very versatile color, would work with pretty much any complexion and would go fantastically with a smokey/neutral eye.
☺ There wasn't an obviously detectable fragrance

CONS:
☹ It can feel a little too creamy/thick on the lips. You definitely won't need a second coat for this.
This lipstick is definitely one of the top ones in the drugstore - definitely recommend ;)

REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS PEARL LIPSTICK - SOFT SILVER ROSE (#430)

Soft Silver Rose (#430) is a gorgeous, bright-ish frosty pink with cool undertones.

PROS:
☺ Really pretty rose color, a very sweet and feminine pink with a nice sheen to it.
☺ Quite creamy, nice & easy to apply
☺ Pretty longlasting

CONS:
☹ Definitely not an everyday wear lipstick, the color is not subtle so would probably be good for a special day :)
☹ I've seen some pretty negative reviews on this lipstick because some people can't "pull it off". I would recommend you try this color before you buy it, because lipstick can be different to everyone, and this color probably does work better with some complexions more than others.
